We recently organised restumping at my mother’s house in Brisbane. After looking at several quotes we chose Glenn Palframan to carry out the works. I am an engineer and my sister and her partner are both architects so he had plenty of professional oversight on this job.
Having seen many job sites, I have to say that Glenn runs an exceptionally tidy one.
Mum is in her late 80’s and she was worried about having people working at the house and the disruption etc. She found it very easy to stay in the house while the work was done. Glenn and his team were all very polite and friendly the whole time keeping Mum informed as to what was happening as the job progressed. Mum was very happy we chose Glenn to do the work.

His standard of workmanship was exceptionally high. He doesn’t cut corners and makes sure the work is done properly. Structurally and aesthetically I couldn’t find any issues with the work he did.
Once he started the job, everything progressed very quickly from start to finish. There were no delays waiting for him to reappear during the work. It was completed in slightly less time than he estimated and we had some rainfall during the work.

At the same time, there were other works that needed doing around the same part of the house and Glenn organised those to happen as well using the equipment we had on site for the restumping work.
At the end of the job, everything was cleaned up and the work area was swept out. The yard damage was kept to a minimum but in areas where new soil had been spread out they raked the area over to smooth everything out. Both inside and outside, the house was left in a better state than when they arrived.
I have no hesitation in recommend Glenn for restumping work and would be happy to talk to anyone considering using him to have such work done.
